Expectations
You can only expect a resurrection if you truly believe Jesus is who He says He is.  When you trust Jesus as your Lord, you can expect your life to change because your destiny will change; you can expect your outlook to change, because the same power that raised Jesus from the dead will transform your heart and your mind. And just like that first Easter Sunday, you can expect that Jesus is ALIVE, standing at God's right hand, ready to hear you call on His name!

    A View of the Cross
We see in the Bible the Roman government's view, Jewish religious leaders, the crowd, and the disciples view of the Cross, but we won't know the true meaning of the cross until we look at God's view of the Cross.  Out of the confusion and chaos, comes God's purpose - Christ died for our sins! Although He still had the authority to call a legion of angels to set Him free, He cried out, "father, into your hands I commit my Spirit." Then, He bowed His head and died because He thought YOU were worth it.  Don't ignore the cross and its meaning!

    The Servant, Savior
We live in a world that has a lot of hurt and pain.  The Servant, Savior - the One who came from heaven to be the sacrifice for the sins of the world is the only One who can heal that hurt and pain.  Let us give our life in service to the One who gave His life in service for us and be a living testimony wherever we go.

    A Curse and A Cleansing
On Monday of Passion Week, the King of Glory pronounced judgment on fruitless Israel as He cursed the fig tree and cleansed the temple. Jesus' uses this "judgment day" as a warning to all who will listen, serving as an act of His love for those He would die for..  We need to make sure that we as Christians are not fruitless and are reminded of what God expects of His house, His people, prayer and ministry to the needs of others.

    The Royal Entry
If you knew you only had one week to live, what would you do, where would you go, what would you say?  As you walk with Jesus, think about what you will do in response to all you hear and see during this "Passion Week."  The challenge to each of us today is to not waste the opportunities God gives as He visits you through His Word and by His Spirit.
